“ Booked for a large party in a Friday night. Communication was excellent and they were excellent managing the dreaded splitting of the bill. Food ranged from pizza and calamari to a pulled lamb shepherds pie (which I had, and was excellent) all the food was great, well cooked and tasty. Service was attentive, super helpful and happy. Visited with my hubby and family we ordered blade of beef, steak x 2 and children’s pizza ... was just delicious - the blade of beef melted in your mouth and steak was cooked to perfection! The staff were as always amazing - nothing is too much trouble and when asking for extra gravy they delivered - no questions. If you haven’t been or not been in a while you must go! ”

“ We have been to andwhynot on a few occasions in the last couple of months and I can honestly say it is one of the best venues in Mansfield for a really nice meal. Most recently we visited for Sunday lunch and were served by Clara and the team. All the staff are really friendly and attentive. We ordered three of the duo meat combos and the other person in our party ordered the vegan pie and we can all confirm the food was delicious. On previous occasions I have ordered the trays and burgers which are just awesome! I’m never disappointed by the food here and I always leave very happy. The venue itself is very nice, clean and inviting. It has a steampunk element to it, and it looks quirky, but homely. Personally, I would prefer the music to be a little bit louder in the main dining room as when it does get busy, you can hear a lot of people talking over one another, so the music being a little bit louder would help drown that noise out, but that’s just personal preference. It’s a really nice atmosphere, and I would recommend this venue to anyone for sure. Thank you team andwhynot for never letting us down! ”

“ I visited AndWhyNot yesterday (10/05/25) for a bottomless brunch and was really impressed by the service & food/drinks. Our server was absolutely amazing, I didn't catch her name but she had ginger hair. She was lovely and made us feel very welcome and looked after us during our session. The only thing I would change is our food came out as soon as we arrived, we would have preferred our food to come out halfway through our session. But it was still really good! I definitely would visit AndWhyNot again, I will be back soon! ”
